Salary Range - $35 to $50k based on experience.

Position Summary
Centre Wildlife Care is a wildlife rehabilitation facility in Central PA that is licensed to rehabilitate all native species of wildlife including rabies vectors and endangered species. CWC admits over 2000 animals per year, with half arriving in May and June in the form of orphaned babies.
The Clinic Manager is the operational leader of the wildlife clinic and is accountable for ensuring safe, compliant, efficient, and humane wildlife rehabilitation services. This position translates organizational policies and strategic direction into consistent daily execution.
The Clinic Manager oversees all staff and is responsible for maintaining clinical standards, operational workflow, regulatory compliance, and professional conduct across all clinic functions. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring sound judgment, decisive action, and the ability to manage people in a fast-paced, emotionally demanding environment.
This role publicly represents the organization and must consistently show professionalism, discretion, and support for organizational values.
Qualifications & Requirements
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Oversight & Animal Care
· Review all clinic animal care sheets each shift to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with CWC standards.
· Observe animal progress and needs daily and adjust:
o Food requirements
o Medications and treatments
o Housing and location (incubators, tubs, crates, flights, etc.)
· Identify animals requiring diagnostic testing and oversee proper sample collection.
· Evaluate readiness for release in coordination with the Executive Director.
· Ensure education animals’ care sheets are reviewed and updated appropriately.
· Ensure no animal is released, transferred, or disposed of without proper authorization.
· Provide direct, hands-on animal care as needed to maintain operational continuity.
· Provide on-call emergency services as needed and be willing to work a varied schedule.
· Consistently communicate with the volunteers and staff to increase education and understanding of proper procedures.
